Maybe witches are trying to find another way into the kingdom of God. Perhaps they want to find another way to attain power. That is what witches want is power. They desire spiritual power.

The Bible tells me there is only one way in. That is Christ. He alone has all power in heaven and in earth.

Maybe the lady that wrote this article is trying to find another way to attain spiritual power.

Read John chapter 10. Jesus Christ is the door. You cannot attain salvation any other way.

It’s not about finding salvation to Jesus Christ through uncut hair, that would be blasphemous, and utterly ridiculous. Our precious Savior, Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary for my sins, for your sins, for all of us. Nothing can take away from that.

Paul is speaking to the Church body, (not unbelievers). He is correcting their order of worship, and setting up the concept of “headship”. It denotes responsibility and accountability within the body of Christ in their order of worship to Him. So that it would be a sweet savor unto the Lord. (ushering in the Presence of a Holy God).

Uncut hair is an “ordinance”. The physical covering is a spiritual application, indicating the authority that exists above the woman, yet still under Christ. (KJV Nelson Study Bible Commentary, pg 1779).

It must be very important, or it would not be there in such length.

As a woman, and a saint of God; I am held accountable for what I have been given. I see the scriptures that say:

Be ye followers of me, even as I am of Christ. (Paul says, I follow Christ). He is a preacher to the Gentiles; and an Apostle. He comes with all authority, to bring this to you. Authority of God Almighty. This ordinance belongs to God; and he gives it to us that we may please him.

“Now I praise you, brethren, (saints of God), that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you”. (Keep them, as I have delivered them).

Reading it in scriptures means, it has now been delivered to you to keep/obey/ and follow, or by your own free choice, “dismiss”. I make the personal choice to keep it.

The Word goes on in chapter 11 to say: I would have you to know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (Established Order – We serve a God of implicit detail and order).

“Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoreth his head”. (Period). Men are to show respect when coming into the house of God, by removing their hats. This still goes on today.

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoreth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. (verse 5-6). Jumping down now to verse 10: “For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels”.

And now jumping down to verse 14: “doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?” Why; because he is not made in the image of woman, he is made in the image of God. A woman has long hair. It is a distinction between the sexes, and it is establishing boundaries of gender identity within the Church.

“But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering”. Verse 15. I thank God in Sunday school classes they cover up naked Eve, with long hair. God forbid they discontinue the standard there. (That’s a joke; but not really).

Verse 16-19: If any man seem to be contentious, “we have no such custom, neither the churches of God”, now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. For first of all, when you come together in the CHURCH, I hear that there be divisions among you: and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.”

I am a woman. I am a Christian woman. I am a Christian woman who does not cut her hair because of my faith in the scriptures, and my hope in God. I am devoted to live my life within the ordinances, statutes, commandments, and everything else given to me, so that I may, “In all things show myself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned…” Titus 2:7-8

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and PURIFY UNTO HIMSELF A PECULIAR PEOPLE, ZEALOUS OF GOOD WORKS.” Titus 2:11-14 “The Christian Life.”

I thank God for the Word that keeps me on the straight and narrow, that in the end, I might obtain….
